Haiti Mission Trip
I am taking my son Palmer on a mission trip to Haiti, June 23-28th. For over 20 years our Church, St Philips Episcopal in Charleston,SC, has been a key partner in supporting the people of La Gonave, a small island of the west coast of Haiti. Our support has built 10 schools serving over 2900 Children and employees 165 teachers. Our partnership funds a Community Heath Center with a Doctor, nurses and 21 community health workers. Without our love and support these programs simply would not exist.

As a jeweler who has visited South Africa in 1994, I believe it was the spirit of Christ that kept that nation from imploding into violence and bloodshed after the fall of apartheid. I also believe that God is working in Haiti and is the only hope for a nation born of slavery and destroyed by politics, greed and neglect. If it were not for the love of Christians across the world, Haiti would have nothing.
I ask you to consider a gift for our mission. We will deliver your contribution directly to our parish priest in La Gonave. It is a miracle he does so much with so little. Today, because of the earthquake, everything is so expensive. These people have nothing.

I am covering all of my expenses and then some, so every dollar donated goes directly to Haiti by wire or much needed cash delivered directly by our team. Every dollar makes a difference.
